That's Okay delights and educates children, who engage with the book. As a result they become more confident and find it easier to communicate about how they feel with parents and teachers.

I purchased this book for my autistic child who struggles massively with identifying his emotions. This book is an absolutely brilliant resource, clear and eye-catching visuals, to the point text, simple yet spot on descriptions of each of the emotions and the reassurance that all emotions are valid and it's okay to feel however you feel. Huge thanks to Chris Dixon for writing this amazing book, brilliant communication with updating me as to when it will be sent out and being an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much!

'That's OK' provides an easy and fun way to explore emotions with your child. My son is 3 and like most children finds it very difficult to understand why he is angry, sad or frustrated, this book has helped us explore these feelings with him and helped him express himself much clearer. Would thoroughly recommend!

I purchased the 'That's Okay' book to help my daughter name and understand her feelings during the transition starting school. She's really enjoyed this book, it's beautifully illustrated and really easy to follow.
I've now used the tools online for children that I work with to help normalise their feelings. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

My 2 year and a half year old daughter really enjoys reading this book and after a couple of times going through it you can really start to notice she is starting to understand what different emotions are. It’s not something you would talk about in normal life so such a great idea to put it into a book which makes it fun to learn about!

Our son is on the Austisic spectrum and can sometimes struggle to explain what emotion he is feeling.
Chris has written a book that helps my son to identify and relate the emotions he's been feeling by telling
us where he's felt these emotions and why.
The literature is accompanied by brilliant drawings of imaginative emotion monster which my son loves.
Brilliant book Chris, well done!

I purchased this eBook for my 5 year old son whom is adopted and struggles to regulate his emotions.
We have looked at it twice today and he seems to really relate to the emotions in the book and it has helped him discuss them and describe how each emotion makes him feel.

I would definitely recommend to children aged 3-8 who struggle with managing their emotions

This is a great resource. As a social worker and a mental health practitioner I find these resources fun and simple in teaching SEL. Children do not know how to name their emotions and often they are projected as sadness or anger. This resource would be very helpful for children to support them in identifying the range of emotions and ways to become aware of them! Thank you Chris :)

It's a very well laid out, easy to understand and colourful book for young ones to read and for parents to read with their children to understand about their feelings and emotions. It is great book for both parents and children to know that it is okay to feel whatever feelings are coming up. All emotions are welcome. I will definitely recommend it to my parent clients.

Superb and colourful illustrated story that any child would love! Dealing with an array of emotions it provides a gateway for self acceptance and a tool for supporting children.

Chris’s ‘That’s Okay’ book is something special. It’s different to anything that’s already out there and is the perfect way to teach children about the emotions they might feel, while still being exciting for them to flick through. Look forward to the next one!

Chris’ book for children ‘Thats Okay’ is exactly what we need to see more of in order to develop emotional literacy. The book has a way of creating important and needed conversations. I know this as it’s exactly what it has done in my house!
