Learn tennis with magical monsters

That's Tennis introduces children aged 4 to 8 to tennis through a team of friendly tennis monsters, each with their own special skill. Super Serve teaches the serve, Miss Forehand and Mr Backhand show the groundstrokes, Footwork Kid shows how to move, and Volley Girl, Smash Master, Sneaky Slice, Little Dropper and Lob Dude each bring a new shot to life.

Co-written by former WTA-ranked player Saša Klaneček and Chris Dixon, creator of the That's Okay feelings books.

About the authors

Saša, from Maribor in Slovenia, started playing tennis at 4 and became Slovenia's number one junior, winning national titles in singles and doubles. She represented Slovenia at the Junior Fed Cup and reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of 947 before playing NCAA Division 1 tennis for Arizona State University from 2017 to 2021, where she had the team's longest unbeaten run in her first season. She has more than five years' experience coaching children and teens.

Chris Dixon writes and illustrates the That's Okay books, which help children understand their emotions through colourful creatures. That's Tennis brings the same friendly creatures to sport, with tips for handling nerves and pressure on court.
